Future Advancements

Following small-scale testing and demonstration of the prototype, this system for neutralizing and biodegrading neonicotinoid pesticides will be expanded to include: 

• Development of additional neutralizing agents for the pesticides comprising of organophosphates, carbamates, sulfonylureas, and pyrethroid

• Adaptation of the drone to sense the presence of honey bees and alter the operation for a personalized system

• Integration of additional sensors to monitor pollination and crops better

  • (Ex: moisture sensor, number of crops pollinated)
